CONO Kaasmakers is committed to paying a fair milk price to its members. The cash milk price for the 2022 financial year has been set at € 56.34 (excluding VAT) per 100 kilograms of milk.

A fair milk price is one that enables dairy farmers to produce the very best milk while investing in sustainability and animal welfare. In 2022, we faced rising energy and feed prices. Meanwhile, global demand for milk increased and global production lagged behind.

CONO Kaasmakers nevertheless managed to make and sell more cheese than in 2021 and, in addition, we were able to respond to price movements in the world markets for butter, skimmed milk powder and whey. All this resulted in a milk price at the bottom of the line that is substantially higher than in 2021.
