Who Doesn't Know The Farmer with CONO cattle farmers

The new season of Who Doesn't Know The Farmer is coming up again! This program, which focuses on farm life with special attention to sustainability and animal welfare, starts on Saturday, November 9. Host Jamie Trenité takes viewers on a four-week journey through the Netherlands, together with various Dutch celebrities, to get to know the world of farmers, animals, and sustainability better. Two of our CONO dairy farmers participate and show viewers how they work passionately every day to deliver the best quality milk.

Huisman family in Wieringerwerf

On Saturday, November 16, sor will walk with the Huisman family in Wieringerwerf for a day. A fun, educational day awaits him here where he immerses himself in farm life and also experiences the important role of sustainability and animal welfare. Almost the entire family works on the farm: Bert and daughters Iris, Britt and Suus take care of the cows and sheep. Monique offers meaningful day care with her care farm and runs the farm store.

Kramer family in Assendelft

In episode three, on Saturday, Nov. 23, Jamie Trenité goes to work on the dairy farm of Elmer and Martine Kramer and their children in Assendelft. In addition to the dairy cows, they also have a farm store, where they sell Beemster cheese, local dairy and meat from their own cows. Contributing to a future for the next generation is important to them, so they are also participating in a trial to maintain the groundwater level through drainage. As the peat subsides, CO2 is released from the soil and they want to reverse that process.

In 2023, Who Doesn't Know The Farmer was awarded a change-AMMA, with the judges praising the power of the stories. This fourth season also features many personal stories!

Who Doesn't Know The Farmer will be shown weekly on RTL4 for four weeks starting Saturday afternoon, November 9, from 4:00 - 4:30 pm.
