For three generations, the Van Dolder family has run a dairy farm in Hoogwoud. Daan has been at the helm since 2000, and this year they are celebrating 35 years of membership in CONO Kaasmakers. With six children, two of whom show interest in the trade, Daan looks confidently to the future. His passion lies with the cows and grazing: over 2,500 hours a year the cows walk outside. Step by step, he continues to invest in improvement, with an eye for tradition and craftsmanship. Daan is proud of both his farm and the cooperative: "Together we put our shoulders to the wheel and make the tastiest cheese in the Netherlands."
