Last night, CONO Kaasmakers won the People’s Choice Award at the Best Business in North Holland competition. It’s a special honor that we’re incredibly proud of.

The award recognizes entrepreneurship that looks beyond mere results. Companies are judged on their impact, innovation, and sustainable approach to building the future. For our cooperative, simply being nominated among so many strong companies in North Holland was an honor in itself. The fact that we have now also been awarded the People’s Choice Award makes this recognition even more special.

This award is a tribute to everyone who contributes to our cooperative every day—to our colleagues in the cheese-making facility and in the office, and of course to our member dairy farmers. Thanks to their expertise, dedication, and teamwork, we can continue to build strong brands, operate sustainably, and, above all, produce the tastiest cheese.

It’s also a special year for CONO Kaasmakers. Earlier this year, our cheese won the title of “best cheese in the world” at the World Championship Cheese Contest in Wisconsin. This People’s Choice Award is therefore another wonderful moment for us all to be proud of together.

We would also like to thank the jury of the North Holland Business Awards. It was undoubtedly a difficult task to choose from so many wonderful companies and initiatives. For us, it was a valuable opportunity to once again put our organization in the spotlight and showcase what we work on together every day.

Finally, we would like to thank the organizers for the festive evening and all their hard work in putting together the event.
