Four times gold for the cheeses of CONO Cheese Makers. This year, the cheeses: Beemster Belegen, Beemster X-O, Beemster Royaal Grand Cru and Beemster Geitenkaas were awarded gold at the DLG Awards in Germany.

Medals
The DLG Awards is the prestigious cheese judging event in the international cheese world. In July, medals are awarded on various quality characteristics: taste, consistency, smell, exterior and interior. Only cheeses that score high on all components are eligible for a gold DLG medal. We are therefore proud that also this year Beemster received 4 gold medals! We are especially proud of the inspection of the Beemster X-O, which has been awarded a gold medal for 10 consecutive years now.

Since 2005, CONO Cheese Makers has participated in this German cheese inspection. Every year, these awards show how much the quality of Beemster cheeses is appreciated. "Our farmers and cows provide the tastiest milk, the cheesemakers do everything they can to make the tastiest cheeses."
