During the annual election of The World Cheese Awards, our Royaal Grand Cru and Beemster Oud 30+ were awarded 'Super Gold'! This prestigious event, with more than 4,000 entries from over 40 countries, is where the world's best cheeses are judged by a panel of international experts. In Viseu, Portugal they judged the cheeses blind on taste, texture and appearance.

Not only our Beemster Oud 30+ and Royaal Grand Cru won awards; our oldest cheese, Beemster X-O- also won a gold medal. We are proud of that!

Passion and craftsmanship
Our artisan cheese, made with the very best milk from CONO cows, convinced the jury with its unique taste and appearance. That our cheese stands out again is a great honor. This recognition underlines our craftsmanship and the dedication of our dairy farmers and cheesemakers. Cheese master Sjoerd Hiemstra on the winning cheeses: 'It remains special to see our cheeses shine among so many entries.
