Special successes together with local entrepreneurs

CONO Kaasmakers has expressed the ambition to be climate positive by 2030. As far as CONO is concerned, that also means a positive social climate. That is why CONO, together with cheese specialty entrepreneurs, is committed to their environment with the campaign 'Bijzonder Goed'.

It works simply: the cheese shop entrepreneur chooses a local charity and determines the amount he wants to donate per kilo of CONO cheese sold. At the end of the campaign period, CONO adds a pre-agreed amount to that and a cheque is presented to the charity.

The 'Bijzonder Goed' campaign is currently running at about 60 cheese specialty shops throughout the country. Participating shops are experiencing a great deal of involvement in the campaign and are receiving positive reactions from customers who see that a society can really be there for each other.

Last week, the first cheques were presented to local charities. The scoop was given to Ed Boele of 'De Kaasspeciaalzaak' in The Hague, who handed over the first cheque (worth € 2500) to theatre 'De Nieuwe Regentes' in The Hague. Jacco Mesman of Zuivelhoeve Enschede also presented a cheque for over € 1100 to the Enschedese Playgrounds Foundation.

CONO thanks everyone for their enthusiasm and efforts in making the 'Bijzonder Goed' campaign a particular success.
