Beemster® has once again won international awards. At the 2026 International Cheese & Dairy Awards, Beemster® Royaal Grand Cru and Beemster® X-O- together received three gold awards.

Beemster® Royaal Grand Cru was honored with no fewer than two Gold Awards. This is a special recognition, coming after the cheese was named the world’s best cheese earlier this year at the World Championship Cheese Contest. Beemster® X-O- also took home an award, receiving a gold medal for its rich and distinctive flavor.

The International Cheese & Dairy Awards are among the most prestigious cheese competitions in the world. A panel of experts evaluates the cheeses based on taste, aroma, texture, and appearance. Only cheeses that truly stand out receive a Gold Award.
